At this young age, help players continue to learn names of components of the basketball court. Continue to focus on dribbling, passing and shooting basics. Drills at this age should be multi-purpose, practicing multiple skills at once, as much as possible. Focus less on plays, and more on basketball knowledge through small-sided games such as 1 v. 1, 2 v. 2, and/or 3 v. 3. PRO TIP: Naming all of your drills saves time during practice and helps players get into drills quickly and efficiently.
